why do this
I wanted to dust off my original blog (a small victory) or the follow up blog (faster than the world) but they're both an unholy mess and I don't even know where to begin with it. So I stepped back even further and landed here at blogger.
I miss blogging. A big thing I miss about it is the blogging community and that doesn't exist anymore, but hey, maybe I can be a trendsetter.
The blogging era was a fun time on the internet. I made a lot of friends, many of whom I'm still friends with today. I wrote a LOT. I wrote every single day, sometimes four or five times a day. I sometimes got too caught up in news events. I sometimes rambled about nothing at all. But no matter what I was blogging about, there was a community of other bloggers and blog readers who kept me company at a small victory for many years. I can't tell you how many kids I watched grow up through mommy blogs. How many writers I saw move on to bigger and better things. It was a great time to be on the internet. We had fun every day. Ah, the days before the world turned to shit.
I don't know how often I'll post or what I'll be posting. If it's anything like my old blog, it will just be random thoughts on current things, mostly music. Maybe like a little daily newsletter. And maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and think this isn't a good idea at all and scrap it. But it feels good to be back on blogger. It somehow feels right.
